From £400 to 5 Figure Rings: A Founder’s Journal

The Beginning: A dream and scrap Silver
My journey with Quinn’s Jewellery didn't start in a workshop in London, but in my garage at 15. I spent my entire savings, around £400, on basic tools and silver. While my peers were focused on exams, I was obsessing over the British Academy of Jewellery. When travel issues made that dream impossible, I didn't stop. I completed my A-levels in product design, business, and psychology, even making an engagement ring for my final coursework.
After school, I realised that the hours of practice I could dedicate to this art were more valuable than a university degree. To fund my bespoke dreams, I hit the road, setting up permanent jewellery pop-ups in Bristol, Bath, and Cheltenham. It was slow, and I doubted myself every day, until a diamond necklace I made for my girlfriend, Shaya, gained attention on social media.
The Milestone: 2 Ct Natural Diamonds
Since making that necklace for Shaya, the scale of my work has transformed. To date, I’ve had the honour of crafting two separate 2ct natural diamond rings, modern heirlooms that still blow my mind when I think about them.
The May 2026 Update
Resilience is the cornerstone of Quinn’s Jewellery. Whether it was a permanent bracelet at a pop-up or a bespoke engagement ring that marks a lifetime commitment, every piece carries the weight of that initial £400 investment. Thank you for being part of this growth.
