The Narrative of Two Tones

From a Promise to a Reality
A client came to me wanting to design a silver ring to propose with, as he wasn’t sure what style his partner would want. We made the first ring in silver with CZ stones, giving him something special to propose with without knowing exactly what she would choose for her final ring. He went on to propose with it, and thankfully, she said yes!
They then came back together to design the final ring, where she chose to keep the exact same style but make it two-tone in platinum and yellow gold. The ring features a 1.5ct centre stone, with a platinum bezel wrapping around all three elongated oval-cut diamonds, each with a 1.6 ratio. It was really nice to see the original idea that he had put so much thought and time into designing turn into the final ring she chose herself.
